Dear Parents and Caregivers,
Welcome to our last family update for the 2025-2026 school year. We will hold our graduation ceremony for the Hanscom School class of 2026 next Wednesday evening at 5:00. Please join me in congratulating our graduates and their families as you see them over the course of the week.
Thursday, June 18 will be our last day of school and dismissal will be at 12:35. For those of you who will be PCSing we are going to miss you and we hope that you stay in touch and keep us updated. If you need any help as you transition into your new school please reach out to our school office or Erin Law our School and Family Liaison and Transition Specialist. For those of you who will be returning to our school in the fall, we will be happy to welcome you back.
We’ve had a very successful school year filled with rich academic opportunities and engaging activities for all of our students Kindergarten through 8th grade, I hope that our weekly family updates have been successful in sharing that information as the year unfolded.
We look forward to seeing all of you and sharing more information about the 2026-2027 school year in late August. In the meantime, I hope you have a safe and wonderful summer and please remember that our school’s library will be open on Tuesdays from 10:00 am -1:00 pm from June 23rd through August 25th. Thank you for a great year and have a wonderful summer.
Warm Regards,
Mr. Ledebuhr

Food Service Update
As we wind down to the end of the school year, there are a few changes to the June menu. For the first two weeks, June 1–12, there will be only three lunch options available each day. During the week of June 15, there will be just one lunch option offered daily. Please note that June 17 and June 18 are half days. Some highlights are Fish Tacos, featuring fish from Red's Best at the Boston Fish Pier; Walking Tacos & Burgers - featuring local ground beef and burgers from Maine Family Farms; along with local fruit and vegetables!
My School Bucks
The last day to put money on your account at myschoolbucks.com is 6/13/26. The cashiers will be accepting cash or check payments until June 18th. If you are sending in cash, please put it in an envelope with your student's name on it.
8th Grade Student Balances
Please check your student’s meal account balance before the end of the school year.
For 8th grade students who have younger siblings currently enrolled in the district, any remaining meal account balance will automatically be transferred to the sibling’s account after June 18.
For 8th grade students who do not have siblings in the district, refund checks for remaining balances over $5 will be mailed to the home address on file.
